Peta and I opened the original version MakingYourOwnCandles.co.uk using the online service EKMPowershop. Whilst we had a very successful Christmas trading, the old shop simply didn’t cut the mustard. There weren’t enough features to allow us to keep you up to date, for you to track your order or for us to efficiently handle the product listings or orders so, in January 2010, we moved over to BigCommerce and the result is what you see at www.makingyourowncandles.co.uk.
You should find that you, as a customer, have many of the features you’re used to when using services like Amazon including order tracking, reviews and even gift certificates. We hope you like it but please do drop us a line if there are any suggestions you might have.
